About me
Sysadmin at the Russian State Children's Library (Moscow) since November 2021. Since March 2024 I lead a team of 2 — Prometheus + Grafana monitoring, 20+ automation scripts, CI/CD. Picked up dev on the job: PHP/Laravel, React/Next.js, Python. Open to full-stack and systems-analyst roles.
Started as a junior sysadmin in November 2021 at the Russian State Children's Library (RGDB) in Moscow. 100+ workstations on Windows, Linux, and macOS. Legacy PHP webapps that hadn't been touched in years. Inventory tracked in a spreadsheet that kept breaking. I wrote my first Bash and Python scripts that month — every time I did the same user-provisioning routine twice, I'd script it. That instinct stuck. Since March 2024 I lead a team of two admins. Rebuilt the network from scratch — MTTR dropped 30%. Shipped 20+ automation scripts in Python and Bash that cut routine ops by 40% and manual errors by 60%. Set up Prometheus + Grafana monitoring with 99.9% SLA. Rolled out CI/CD for internal web services — deploys went from 2 hours to 15 minutes. Development came sideways. PHP started because legacy webapps at the library kept breaking and no one wanted to touch them. I fixed about 30 bugs and sped up the main site by 20%. Frontend followed — TypeScript, React, Next.js. Got a Systems Analysis certificate from Karpov Courses in 2024. Finishing Applied Informatics (AI & Data Analysis) at Moscow Witte University in 2026. What I like most: asking "why is it this way and not another?" Usually that question uncovers the real bugs and the real constraints — the ones nobody wrote down. I care about interfaces that make sense and software that doesn't make you wait. Honest caveat — I'm a perfectionist. Sometimes the hard part isn't writing the code; it's letting the project ship before I've polished every edge.

How I work
Work Philosophy
I work on a 50/50 payment model. Half upfront, before the first line of code. The second half before I hand over the final build. You are not paying for work that does not exist yet, and I am not working for free. Revisions — 5 free, then paid. That frame keeps the project from drifting into "just one more tweak" forever. All communication in one channel — no scattered emails and DMs.
